We pride ourselves on being passionate about early childhood education and play based learning.
At Early Learning Centre Diamond Creek we are committed to working with families to provide the perfect early learning environment for children that is engaging and builds success for life. We are a 90 place Centre offering developmentally appropriate programs throughout five rooms. We have two Nursery areas, a Toddler group, a 3 year old Kinder Group and a Preschool group. Our Centre is made up of families, children and staff from around the globe, bringing together different values, traditions and culture. We have an Early Childhood Teacher who provides a Kinder Program for our 4-5 year olds, working alongside local primary schools throughout the year. We also have a wonderful nature sanctuary where children can tend to the garden boxes or sit and enjoy some quiet time.
Everything we do at our Centre is for the benefit of the children in our care, because the children are at the centre of everything we do. This is a place where children are nurtured and their minds stimulated. Play based learning is one of the foundations of our Centre. Play based learning fully engages children in experiences where they can show what they’ve learned and are trying to understand.
Each child’s unique needs are recognised and every child is treated as a very special individual with overflowing potential. Children enjoy a wide variety of experiences within a flexible daily routine to ensure that every part of their day is not just fun, but becomes a teachable moment in time.
Every year we send home a special events calendar. Each month we have dress up days ; Morning and Afternoon teas for Mums , Dads, Grandparents and Special Friends, Multicultural and Community Days; Special Calendar Events days including Chinese New Year, Footy Day, Halloween, etc.
